I was working at Apple in 2011 before Steve Jobs passed. I visited Caffe Mac while on a trip to Cupertino and remember nearly bumping into Steve and Jony while they were sitting at lunch. (The place was crowded!)

They didn’t acknowledge me so it wasn’t quite a “near miss” but I could tell they were deep in discussion so I played it off and kept on looking for my group.

I’m thankful to Steve for the creativity and passion he gave to building wonderful products and the company that started my career.
