Finished reading: The Distracted Mind: Ancient Brains in a High-Tech World by Adam Gazzaley 📚

This was a great read. Covers the full gamut of neurological limits to human cognition and how technology has aggravated our ability to manage tasks effectively. The authors end the book with some wonderful pragmatic behaviors and practices to tame our distracted minds. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Finished reading: The Ethical Algorithm: The Science of Socially Aware Algorithm Design by Michael Kearns 📚

One last walk up our favorite hill in the city. Hailey and I start a new adventure tomorrow. We’ve loved our time in Bernal Heights and will always hold dear this city, it’s people, and the friends and memories we made here. It isn’t a goodbye—just a see you next time.
